Build a Fun Math Game for Grade 1 Kids
Help young learners fall in love with numbers through play! We're looking for a creative developer to build an engaging, colorful math game for 6-7 year olds.
About This Project
We're creating a fun, interactive math game designed specifically for Grade 1 students (ages 6-7). The game should make learning addition, subtraction, and number recognition feel like playtime!
What You'll Build
- Addition Adventures: Simple problems like 3 + 2 = ? with visual aids (apples, stars, animals)
- Subtraction Stories: Take-away scenarios with fun animations
- Number Recognition: Match numbers to quantities (count the ducks!)
- Reward System: Stars, badges, and encouraging sounds to celebrate progress
Requirements
- Experience building games or interactive educational apps
- Eye for colorful, child-friendly UI design
- Understanding of how young children learn best
- Bonus: Experience with Scratch, Unity, or web-based game frameworks
